Work with us to share and protect the dignity of all life. We must end this political stasis - move into Community-and-Nature awareness. This requires us to become smart and mindfully present to what we are doing, how we are living, how we are damaging people and planet, and what we need to change,

We view a collaborative relationship on this vision petition as a strength: We invite your organization, or you as an individual, to join us, to contribute to the process of outreach either fiscally or with 'people power', to garner public support and awareness of what's possible, to contribute professionally. We represent a collection of people's voices for a fair, just and free Society, for all peoples, all species, and all lands, air & waters. YOU ARE IN THIS INITIATIVE.

1. CIVIL RIGHTS:

Regardless of national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, race, cultural identification or other distinguishing factors:

  1. Protect all people from discrimination, harm, or unfair treatment from individual, corporate or organisational persecution.

  2. Protect the people’s right to experience a life of freedom and self-determination, free from violence, pollution, oppression, persecution, or servitude.

  3. All people affected by US law shall have the right to vote, in perpetuity.

  4. Protect the people’s right to live in full health and in a fully healthy Natural environment.

  5. Protect the people’s right to sovereignty over their bodies and minds, regardless of gender, age, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, cultural identification or race including - but not limited to - women, and all choices that affect women’s body's health and wellness, including, but not limited to reproductive health, as determined by the mother.  

  6. Protect the people’s right to privacy from surveillance without due process, related to proveable emergency concerns that such people are verifiably a danger to the public.

  7. Protect all people's right to be joined in a mutually consenting marriage, no matter the gender or sexuality of each party.

  8. Provide free, reliable and safe Universal healthcare for all citizens, regardless of medical history.

  9. Provide free, high quality, education; k-12 and college.

  10. Guarantee clean, safe, housing for all US citizens. It shall not be seen as a privilege but a requirement to ensure that all US citizens are housed in sanitary, healthy and respectful homes to ensure their rightful dignity of life.

  11. Ensure that all people are legally protected and actively safe from harm from people owning guns or weapons that can cause wilful, or accidental, damage to themselves, or others - individual or collective.

  12. Universal Basic Income and basic living wage to ensure the abolition of involuntary homelessness and abject poverty.

  13. Reduce citizens voting age to 16.

2. CIVIL COMMUNITY RIGHTS:

Declare that we the people have sovereignty and self-determination over our liberty, welfare, domestic tranquility and local economic development, above and beyond any powers of those elected officials in service of the body politic:

  1. Local community governance is the primary authority on the best use of, and protection of, their own natural resources for economic development, for Nature’s needs to thrive, and for local community to thrive; all development needs to be evaluated by each local community for its acceptable impact on their environment so as to protect Nature’s ability to be naturally regenerative, and remain unpolluted and un-degraded. All local development needs to progress in agreement between local community, local government and, where necessary, state government.

  2. Including, but not limited to, elected officials evaluating proposed individual, organizational or business land and natural resource use that can and may affect each local community: it is the local community's right to deny or adjust local development, protect liberty, welfare and domestic tranquillity, peaceably, as pertains to humanity, health, environment's health, the future, dignity and all natural person’s inalienable freedoms and rights.

  3. Local communities’ health and wellbeing are above and beyond any profiteering or use of natural resources, habitats, and ecosystems by private or government groups and are based on the requirements and needs, as identified by each affected community.

  4. Declare that State, Local & Federal governments exist to protect and serve all nature-based beings, Nature, and all ecosystems rights to long, healthy, engaged natural lives, of absolute personal freedom.

  5. The CA government will consult with Native American communities in timely preparation for Constitutional Convention, to obtain Indigenous People’s formal counsel and voice from them, or their refusal thereof, in service of their inclusivity into Constitutional negotiations that affect - but are not limited to - their cultural, spiritual, land and civil rights, going forward; to be determined by their own recognised community leaders and representatives.

    1. Part A: Recognise all tribes & make sure they legally own land:

      1. Recognise all unrecognized tribes.

      2. All Tribes - now being recognised - each get land equivalent in size of the Jackson Rancheria (900 acres). https://www.jacksoncasino.com/tribal

      3. All tribal land is owned by the tribe, and not in trust by Federal gov.

    2. Part B: By county the law would be changed:

      1. You can't have a public event over 50 people, unless the tribe of that county gets 15 minutes at the beginning of the even to speak.

      2. You must notify the county and the county will tell the tribe of the offer. Tribe does not have to go, its an offer.

      3. Every community college or university has to have a course on the tribe of that county that is required for a degree.

      4. If a shopping center, school, or major park, or street is build over a native village, they shall be renamed after that village.

      5. Any new land developed has to invite the tribe to bless the land before anything is constructed, or they are invited to be able to speak for the first 15 minutes at the groundbreaking ceremony.

      6. Everyone has to recognize that the land belongs to the tribe of that county.

 

3. BUSINESS PRACTICES:

  1. Abolish Corporate personhood, and legal immunity, for purposes of campaign finance and political speech.

  2. Ending Corporate constitutional rights and money in elections defined as constitutionally-protected free speech.

  3. Recognize senior Corporate persons as having a duty of care to operate to avoid negative impact on people, ecology and the freedom, health and longevity of both.

    1. Remove Limited Liability from Corporations, making Senior Corporate Persons - CEO or person of equivalent standing - personally and legally responsible for all decisions that negatively impact human health, create ecological damage, living systems damage or climate harm.

    2. Make the duty of care a personal liability to organizational leaders for all economic, political and developmental operations.

    3. Implement a Federal law to remove profit as the primary motivator for Shareholders, Board members, Stakeholders, or equivalent positions, in any organization, and replace with health and longevity of ecology and human lives as a primary duty of care.

 

4. WAGES:​

All things being equal, require all people of equal skill to receive equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender, age, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation or race. â€‹

  1. Require each American state to have a minimum wage that provides for an affordable living wage in accordance with each state’s actual cost of living regardless of gender, age, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, cultural identification or race.

 

5. PROTECTING THE DIGNITY OF LIFE:

1. Nature’s Rights:

  1. Recognise, respect and protect the Natural Environment - aka Nature - as a sovereign, living, being with inalienable legal rights to protection, that derive from its inherent dignity as the source of life, to continue to exist, thrive, and evolve naturally; un-compromised by pollution, degradation, damage or destruction. Nature includes but is not limited to all ecology: land, water, air, plant, animal, wildlife, wilderness, all living beings (including human beings) and naturally occurring ecosystems as they exist as independent species and as interdependent groups and habitats that support the essential well-being and workings of all life.

  2. Declare that Nature is a freely living being with inalienable rights, and that no individual, business entity, government, “owner” or organisation shall inflict violence or servitude on her.

  3. Nature is not mere property but instead does have rights of its own.

  4. Make it irrevocable law that no individual, business entity, government or organization shall aggressively, recklessly, disrespectfully or unsustainably pollute, degrade or over-use Nature.

    1. Pollution to be defined as interfering with ecological systems; ecosystems’ and human systems’ right and ability to flourish in their own local environment, including loss of lifestyles and loss, delay or damage to systemic integrity.

    2. Degrading to be defined as negatively affecting quality of life and ability to regenerate or continue to identify as a species, an ecosystem or habitat.

    3. Overuse to be defined as interfering with Nature’s ability to easily regenerate thrive in Nature’s own naturally occurring cycles.

  5. Protecting Resources:

    1. Forbid any practice such as planned obsolescence, or any practice that disregards frugal, wise or sustainable use of Nature’s resources; that all living species may have clean and healthy habitat, longevity, and access to Natural resources to reasonably and justly meet their own needs.

    2. The practice of planned waste is in direct violation of protecting the future of life for all beings and must be rendered immediately unlawful and illegal and in violation of protecting Nature’s - including humans - right to exist.

  6. Declare that where pollution, degradation or overuse has occurred, Nature has the right to restoration.

    1. This integral restoration is independent of the obligation on natural and juridical persons or the State to indemnify the people and the collectives that depend on the natural systems.

    2. In the cases of severe or permanent environmental impact, including those caused by the exploitation of non-renewable natural resources, the State - in consultation and agreement with local communities, local leaders and affected municipalities - will establish the most efficient mechanisms for the restoration, and will adopt the adequate measures to eliminate or mitigate any, and all,  harmful environmental consequences.

    3. The State, in consultation and agreement with local communities, local leaders and affected municipalities, will apply precaution and restriction measures in all the activities that can lead to the extinction of species, the destruction of the ecosystems or the permanent alteration of the natural cycles.

  7. Declare that there is a legal duty and obligation for each State and each entity to care for Nature’s inherent rights to a healthy, peaceful, regenerative, existence.

    1. We the people, in our communities are empowered and protected by sovereign local law from pre-emption from private authorities, and from any non-disclosures or secret acts by Local, State and Federal representatives, to ensure and protect Nature’s rights to clean and healthy water, soil and air as a source of life and to ensure that Natural systems can continue to propagate themselves sustainably and for the future of all organic life, without interruption, and that this authority never be limited, preempted.

    2. To fulfil this right requires that the duty and obligation to protect be upheld by all parties having influence over Nature’s self-regenerating, unpolluted, experience of self, under penalty of law.

  8. Declare that every natural person shall have recourse to the law for all violations of this article, with damages recurring in full to the injured environmental system to ensure its prompt restoration. The natural environment shall not be deprived of its rights.

  9. The State will motivate natural and juridical persons as well as groups and organisations to protect nature; it will promote respect towards all the elements that naturally form a living, healthy, thriving, fully functioning ecosystem.

2. Human Community Rights of Nature:

  1. Recognise that humans are an inseparable part of Nature - all that affects Nature affects humans and all living beings.

  2. Recognise human’s paramount rights to an unpolluted, healthy planet.

  3. Recognise that Nature’s health is inextricably tied to human health and must, therefore, be maintained as a priority, above business, government or private interests, that can be deemed to threaten said health and said entitlement to health.

  4. Recognise that, in order to protect human quality of life and a peaceful coexistence, each community must retain unfettered authority through local law-making to protect and sustain an unpolluted, healthy and abundant natural environment.

  5. Recognise and protect individual and community needs for a sustainable and healthy quality of life and that each community is able to maintain access to clean water, air, food and wilderness without burden.  

  6. Recognise these needs and rights and that all economic, business, government or individual activity is subject to prohibition, or approval, by the community majority in which the activity is proposed.

  7. Recognise that no business practice is more important than respecting and protecting Nature’s and the community’s inherent needs for a clean and healthy lifestyle and uninterrupted life cycles. Therefore, adjusting all economic and social practices to protect Nature's rights to health and needs to regenerate in her own Natural cycles.

  8. Adopt ‘Cradle to Cradle’ design principles wherein industry, local communities, and local, State and Federal governance must protect and enrich ecosystems and nature's biological metabolism while also maintaining a safe, productive technical metabolism for the high-quality use and circulation of organic and technical nutrients. It is a holistic economic, industrial manufacturing and social framework that seeks to create systems that are not only efficient but also essentially waste free and non-polluting.

  9. Work with local communities to ensure that no local or foreign business or government negatively affects the quality of life in their natural environment.

 

3. Food & Water Sovereignty:

In keeping with self-determination of local communities to access and rely on a relationship to healthy Nature and natural resources to promote and protect  viable, sustainable, community life: Protect people’s rights to collect water and grow food - privately or commercially - for the health, well-being, sustainability and betterment of their local community; whilst protecting other dependent communities ability to do the same.

  1. Protect local business’s ability to thrive locally in keeping with the health of the local community identity and self-determination.

  2. Protect independent farmer’s rights to grow pesticide-free food in keeping with a diverse and competitive marketplace.

  3. Protect human communities rights to know and freedom to choose what they are eating or drinking; where it has come from, what it has been made with, how it’s life cycle has been affected and influenced by any, and all, non-organic influences.

  4. Protect all life by protecting humans’ right and ability to be able to choose organic, ecologically sympathetically grown, food and drink vs non-organic or genetically modified components.

  5. Protect the freedom of food and water to be healthy and to know itself in its original form, free from harm or irreversible pollution.

  6. Render it illegal to patent life, in perpetuity.

  7. Render it illegal to terminate naturally occuring ecological life’s ability to renew itself, in perpetuity.

  8. Render it illegal to compromise the freedom of family - or independent - farmers to own their own seeds and develop natural seed development, according to their ancestral traditions and to maintain a viable farming business, as determined by them.

 

4. Nature & Community’s health abroad:

Recognize that USA businesses working abroad are standard bearers for highest possible USA environmental and human ethics standards.

  1. USA businesses, private authority’s, organizations and individuals operate in observance of highest environmental standards on foreign lands or waters; i.e. in accordance with all nature-based beings and all naturally occurring eco-systems and all natural systems’ right to a healthy and regenerative life, and in service of foreign locally based natural person’s inalienable rights to rely on their local environment for their sustenance and health, according to the highest global and local environmental standards, whichever assures highest quality of life for all local living inhabitants, if higher than USA standards.

    1. Failure to do the above renders any offending USA private authority, business, individual or organization subject to USA judiciary process in the highest courts, or in International Courts, whichever is the higher global standard.

  2. Create an international, peace-based, not-for profit, coalition to mitigate the impacts of global industrialization on people’s lifestyles and livelihoods; access to natural resources, access to healthy environment and needs to adopt new infrastructures and income-bearing opportunities in the face of climate crisis loss due to, but not limited to; rising sea levels, loss of air quality, soil degradation, loss of forests, fire, mountain degradation, land, soil, sea and air pollution, loss of land mass, loss of freshwater.

5. Clean Energy Commitment:

Recognising the urgency of Climate Change’s impact on World Peace:

  1. We call on the CA Legislature to immediately and urgently protect and develop California’s position as a leader of Climate Crisis Action, Prevention, Mitigation & Restoration, and as the leader for constitutionally protecting Civil Rights.

    1. Clean energy to be defined as energy that is scientifically recognised as sustainable from Nature's perspective.

  2. State and Federal Governments to convert away from using extraction fuels to genuinely sustainable clean energy sources (clean renewable energy) for business practice, organisational and residential use, in accordance with the most rigorous global scientific standards necessary to ensure Planetary, Ecosystem and Human health, ad infinitum.

  3. Ensure that all actions to shift to Clean Renewable Energy are done in accordance with the most rigorous and urgent timelines presented by the International Community on Climate Change to secure the future of human life on the planet and to further ensure the healthy - and unburdened by human activity - continuation of our diverse, naturally occurring, ecology.

6. STATE INDEPENDENCE:

  1. Create a clear and reasonable path for States to achieve complete independence from the United States should any State so chose.

  2. The People of the State of California hereby instruct their state elected officials to communicate with and support any other American state that is interested in calling a constitutional convention regardless of that American states’ reasons for calling for an Article V Constitutional Convention, with the intent to get enough American states to call for an Article V Constitutional Convention so that it happens.

  3. The People of the State of California further instruct their state elected officials that if America does not have an Article V constitutional convention by December 25 2019, and if that convention has not changed the constitution of America to include the intent of the language presented in this initiative in topic 5 of section 3, entitled “Protecting the dignity of all life” also by December 25 2019, then California, in order to act on the will of the people to protect their future and their children’s future, will place on the ballot for a vote on November 3, 2020, a question asking “Do you want California to secede from America?”

 

9. REPRESENTATION:

  1. Whereas, taxation without fair representation is theft, any United States territory or land possession of any form, which pays any amount of taxes to the United States must be represented by a voting member of the US Congress and in the vote for President.

10. LEGALIZING DEMOCRACY:

  1. Artificial entities such as Corporations do not have Constitutional rights. The rights protected by the Constitution of the United States are the rights of nature-based beings only. Artificial entities established by the laws of any State, the United States, or any foreign state shall have no rights under this Constitution and are subject to regulation by the People, through Federal, State, or local law. The privileges of artificial entities shall be determined by the People, through Federal, State, or local law, and shall not be construed to be inherent or inalienable.

  2. Money is not free speech. Federal, State, and local government shall regulate, limit, or prohibit contributions and expenditures, including a candidate's own contributions and expenditures, to ensure that all citizens, regardless of their economic status, have access to the political process, and that no person gains, as a result of their money, substantially more access or ability to influence in any way the election of any candidate for public office or any ballot measure. Federal, State, and local government shall require that any permissible contributions and expenditures be publicly disclosed. The judiciary shall not construe the spending of money to influence elections to be speech under the First Amendment.

 

The intention of these request of the CA people is to ensure the healthiest possible longevity of life for all humans, to ensure the highest possible experience and appreciation of freedom and health for all sentient beings, and all naturally occurring eco-systems. To protect the rights and ability for all natural - human, animal, plant, earth life - ecologies to enjoy their self-defining integrity of being fully functioning, uncompromised, respected and deeply considered to be a part of all life, to belong. All decisions and discussions of the above points need to hold the future of all life, for all naturally occurring people - not including corporations or other commercially minded or ‘man-made entities’ - as the highest pinnacle of achievement. No profiteering, corporate or personal gain, shall be considered more important in these discussions than the need of the political organisations and individuals that represent the voters, to do their job respectfully and with careful consideration of who they serve, the American people, and all ecologically occurring life.
