TIMELINE

​THE STEPS:

​

  1. January 2019: Cal Con Con files Initiative with CA's Attorney General.

  2. April 2019: Title & Summary/Fiscal Impact Report are completed.

  3. April 2019 - November 2019: Gather 365,880 valid Signatures and submit to CA's Attorney General.

  4. November 2020: Public votes on the Initiative which will now be on the Ballot.

So, Allies, Partners and Collaborators, what happens during this timeline? 

  1. January 2019 Cal Con Con files Initiative: 

    1. Between now and January 2019, Cal Con Con works with you to input your organisation's desired text into the Initiative, and then we collaborate with you on outreach and education to your member base. You can also just focus on supporting us with outreach and education, if you believe in the US Constitution representing our actual needs as a global nation.

  2. April 2019 Title & Summary/Fiscal Impact Report are completed:

    1. We wait for CA Attorney General's approval to gather signatures.

  3. April 2019 - November 2019 Gather Signatures:

    1. Continued outreach and education. People download a pdf of the Initiative from your website, or Cal Con Con's (your choice), they sign it, and send it in to the official address on the Initiative.

  4. November 2020 Public votes on the Initiative now on the Ballot:

    1. We support our CA Legislature take the essential asks of this Initiative - to protect People and Planet - into the arena of the Constitutional Convention... and we all take a breath!
